- Um bestens mit Strom versorgt zu sein, besorgt euch einen Adapter und denkt daran die Steckdose, wie ein Lichtschalter anzumachen. Das hat mich sehr an meine Neuseelandreise erinnert.
- Die rustikale und minimalistische Einrichtung war genau nach meinem Geschmack. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
- Der Weg zur wunderschönen Blockhütte mit ihrer überwältigenden Landschaft war ein holpriger Weg durch enge Straßengassen. Tatsächlich werden wir uns das nächste Mal ein Auto mit Automatik und viel PS mieten, denn es ging häufig sehr bergauf und den Hügel steil runter.

A little side note, if you go there with a manual car it might be a little tricky to go up the hill but definitely possible - an automatic might be the better choice though :)

Our cabin was extremely welcoming, clean & some beautiful little personal touches. A choice of furniture to sit outside but also we could sit inside with the door & windows open & still see the amazing view! Chris was very respectful of our privacy. His house is up behind the cabin a little way away & shielded from the cabin. Finally I'll say that I always spend so much time looking for the perfect stay. This fulfilled all our needs. They did leave a very vital little heater which we moved between the living area and the bedroom , in the evening and early morning. We managed fine, just we wore a lot of layers at all times.

The view in the morning makes you think of an easel and painting, the stars at night are a treat with hardly any city lights. Only a few villagers live in the village all the time and they are very friendly and welcoming and will tell you stories about almost every rock. And they are really interesting to listen to. The owners are also very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of attractions around but to be honest we didn't want to go anywhere and enjoyed the moment in such a quiet and secluded place.

Note that there are no shops/restaurants in the village, you need to take a car to reach them. In winter it can get a bit cold, there is a little mobile electric heater and there a nice warm blankets. If you need warm water in the morning, you have to let Chris know as he has to turn it on 1 h before, which always worked well.
Chris was very friendly and supportive.

Chris went literally above and beyond for us, and we are entirely grateful.

The cabin is totally private, cosy and clean, surrounded by fruit trees, fresh herbs, and wildlife. The views are breathtaking and the landscape forever changing with the weather, we went in November and it was beautiful.

Chris would bring us fresh figs on the morning and recommended all the best places to visit, although we were too content chilling out at the cabin to do anything on this visit we will hopefully return and explore his recommendations in the future. Natalia cooked us a delicious breakfast using homegrown and local produce from their neighbours.

This place is good for the soul and unlike anywhere we have stayed before, just book it :)
